Mr. Kaplan is a serial entrepreneur and is currently currently the Senior Vice President of Technology for Intermedix. Mr. Kaplan has extensive experience in the startup and operation of technology companies. He brings a wealth of knowledge around selling software, building technology, and locating key staff for in the Pittsburgh area. Mr. Kaplan is also an avid wine collector.
Mark Steinhagen, distributor for Southern Wine and Spirits – Level 2 Sommelier
Mr. Steinhagen has 10 years experience in wine and restaurant management, having served as General Manager for the Grand Concourse and worked with Southern Wine and Spirits. As a certified Sommelier, Mr. Steinhagen provides critical wine expertise, original content and advice, as well as providing access to his professional networks.
Joseph Tambellini, owner and founder, Joseph Tambellini Restaurant
Mr. Tambellini was executive chef for Franco’s Trattoria for 7 years before launching his own restaurant, Joseph Tambellini’s, in 2007. Mr. Tambellini is a well-respected restaurateur, and has a strong network of restaurant owners and managers. Additionally, Mr. Tambellini brings valuable insight into restaurant ownership concerns, and consults with prospective customers to give a restaurateur’s perspective on Grail.
R.J. O'Hara
R.J. received his J.D., cum laude, from the University of Dayton in 1989 and his B.A. in English in 1985 from the same school. He served as the Articles Editor of the University of Dayton Law Review and Chief Judge of the Student Judiciary.
Mr. O'Hara advises clients on complex national licensing issues arising from mergers, acquisitions and corporate restructuring and provides general licensing counsel, handles litigation, citations and hearings.
He also advises clients on the legality of national beverage alcohol promotions and marketing and compliance with state liquor laws. Mr. O'Hara also conducts seminars for industry members regarding liquor liability and related restaurant and beverage alcohol management issues and has drafted alcohol-oriented legislation.
